How to get your data file, open it in UnfTrack and manage your subscription.
Download your Instagram data
- Go to the export page in Instagram
Profile, then the three-line menu at the top right › Meta Account (or Accounts Center) › Your information and permissions › Export your information › Create export › Choose your Instagram profile › Export to device
- Change these three settings
- Customize information: Followers and following
- Date range: All time (Default is “Last year”, be sure to change it)
- Format: JSON (Default is “HTML”, be sure to change it)
- Tap “Start export”
Instagram will ask for your password again. Your password never reaches us.
The file arrives within a few minutes to a few hours.
Download your TikTok data
- Go to the data page in TikTok
Profile, then the three-line menu at the top right › Settings and privacy › Account › Download your data
- Check these two settings
- File format: JSON (Default is “TXT”, be sure to change it)
- Select data to download: Profile and Settings (Nothing is ticked at first)
- Tap “Request data”
TikTok may ask for your password again. Your password never reaches us.
TikTok can take a few days to prepare the file.
Questions
How does it work?
Download your data from Instagram or TikTok, then open the file in UnfTrack. The guide in the app shows each step in the platform's own words. Choose the JSON format. The platform prepares the file and tells you when it's ready, which can take a while.
Why doesn't UnfTrack ask for my password?
You don't need to give it to us. You download the file from the platform yourself, and the app reads it on your iPhone.
Why is a number different from my profile?
The file can include accounts that were closed or deactivated; the profile count leaves them out.
How do I restore my subscription?
On the subscription screen, tap “Restore purchases”.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then UnfTrack. Apple handles refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com.
How long does the file take?
It depends on the platform: Instagram usually takes a few minutes to a few hours, TikTok can take a few days. You can download the file for about four days.
Try it with a sample file
Want to see UnfTrack before your own file is ready? Download the first sample file on your iPhone and open it in the app, then open the second one: UnfTrack compares the two and shows who unfollowed. The names in them are made up.
